My Maine Squeeze

It's really no secret- I'm incredibly infatuated with the state I reside in currently. Its beauty is breath taking- from the vibrant winter sunrises to the powerful waves crashing against the rocks during a storm. I love everything about the beautiful state of Maine. It intrigues me that we are able to experience all of the seasons and not one be alike- spring is so crisp and refreshing, while summer tends to get humid and salty. Fall has its own sense of beauty with the changing of the leaves and the cool breeze that wraps around us as we go for our afternoon walks. Then we transition to winter, where the trees are left bare and we huddle like penguins trying to keep warm while sipping our hot chocolates or pumpkin spiced lattes. Ever since I moved back to this little fishing town, I have been more at peace with myself, I have been able to let go and move on. Living here has also shown me that life is truly beautiful, one must simply open their eyes to capture it. Lastly, I've learned that we shouldn't take life too seriously, living is about having fun and adventuring and being surrounded by people who make you happy.
