Today was an exciting day for me. I was itching for an adventure; brainstorming places to visit that were near by. I finally decided on Reid State Park since I had never been, it seemed fitting. I’m always up for scoping out new areas. I spent all day at work trying my hardest to pass the time as “quickly” as possible. Four o’ clock rolled around and I hopped in my car and grabbed my ride or die to come along with me. She makes an excellent adventure buddy. We were a little bummed out that the park closed at 6:40 (which is an obnoxious time, who even decided that?!). We had gotten there only an hour before which didn't exactly give us too much time to explore. We weren't too impressed so we ended up driving around. We went down a few dead end roads, exchanged glances and some friendly waves with strangers, and I stopped to take some pictures. We stopped next at Fort Edgecomb next to see what was left of the sunset. I then decided that I needed to stuff my face with large amounts of fast food, so we made a pit stop at the good ol’ McDonald’s before driving home. It’s definitely safe to say that this day didn't disappoint. Love always,
Jacqueline
