Last year I was off to a good start, but things quickly changed and we were getting ready to welcome a new child into the world- so I decided to put all my energy into my health rather than my garden. Honestly, it really hurt mentally- the garden is my place of peace and where I can see my hard work flourish. To not have that definitely took an emotional toll on me and I decided to change that.
This year I decided to go all out and grow as much as I possibly could- I started seeds indoors in a mini greenhouse- but most of the seedlings I started in the later months in an outdoor greenhouse. It has been super-hot here in Maine but despite all of that, my garden is thriving even in these later months when we start to say goodbye to summer.
I am grateful for a husband who supports my hobbies and even helps out when I need him - I am also incredibly grateful for the little minis I have who love to spend time watering and harvesting in the garden. We are all growing together and that is so healing to my soul.
Here’s a look at my garden progression throughout the months- Enjoy!
